27 Evaluation Pillars

 

 

SEC 평가체계의 27개 하위평가항목(Evaluation Pillars)은 9대 평가부문을 실제 평가에 적용할 수 있도록 각 평가부문의 주요 평가주제를 구체화한 평가단위이다.

The 27 Evaluation Pillars of the SEC Evaluation Framework define the principal evaluation themes within the 9 Evaluation Domains and provide a more specific structure for their application in evaluation.

각 평가부문은 3개의 하위평가항목으로 구성되며, 9대 평가부문과 27개 하위평가항목은 다음과 같이 체계적으로 연결된다.

Each Evaluation Domain consists of three Evaluation Pillars, systematically connecting the 9 Evaluation Domains with the 27 Evaluation Pillars as follows.

This pillar evaluates organizational policies, implementation, and performance relating to climate-related risks and opportunities, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, carbon neutrality, and sustainable energy transition.

2. 환경오염 예방·자원순환 및 환경효율성

2. Pollution Prevention, Resource Circulation and Environmental Efficiency

환경오염의 예방과 저감, 자원의 효율적인 이용과 순환, 폐기물 관리 및 사업활동 전반의 환경효율성 향상을 위한 조직의 노력과 성과를 평가한다.

This pillar evaluates organizational efforts and performance relating to pollution prevention and reduction, efficient and circular use of resources, waste management, and improvements in environmental efficiency across operations.

3. 자연자본·수자원·생물다양성 및 생태계 보호

3. Natural Capital, Water Resources, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Protection

조직의 활동이 자연자본과 수자원, 생물다양성 및 생태계에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 관련 위험의 관리와 보호·보전 및 지속가능한 이용을 위한 노력을 평가한다.

This pillar examines organizational impacts on natural capital, water resources, biodiversity, and ecosystems and evaluates efforts to manage related risks and support their protection, conservation, and sustainable use.

This pillar evaluates an organization’s sustainability management vision, strategy, implementation structure, and decision-making arrangements and considers whether sustainability is systematically integrated into major decisions and operations.

5. Sustainability Management Implementation, Performance Management and Sustainable Investment

지속가능경영 전략의 실행과 성과관리, 지속가능성을 고려한 투자와 자원배분 및 관련 실행성과를 평가한다.

This pillar evaluates the implementation and performance management of sustainability strategies, investment and resource allocation that consider sustainability, and related implementation outcomes.

임직원과 근로자 및 관련 이해관계자의 안전과 건강을 보호하기 위한 안전·보건 관리체계와 예방활동 및 건강한 조직환경 조성을 위한 노력을 평가한다.

This pillar evaluates safety and health management systems, preventive activities, and organizational efforts to protect employees, workers, and relevant stakeholders and to provide a healthy organizational environment.

사회적 위험에 대한 대응, 사회안전망과 공동체 신뢰의 강화 및 위기와 변화에 대응할 수 있는 사회적 회복력에 대한 조직의 기여를 평가한다.

This pillar evaluates organizational contributions to addressing social risks, strengthening social safety nets and community trust, and supporting social resilience in responding to crises and change.

This pillar evaluates whether organizational decisions and activities consider potential impacts on future generations and contribute to their protection, support, and empowerment for a sustainable future.

This pillar evaluates whether Responsible Management is implemented throughout organizational policies, decision-making, and actual operations and assesses the management of significant impacts arising from organizational activities, related performance, and accountability for the resulting outcomes.
